On Sunday morning many joined us for an outdoor church service in Centennial Park at the pavilion. Guest minister is Rev. Doug Willis and music was provided by the Ayr Paris Band and Ayr, Scotland Pipers. We're selling special books, our new CD, t-shirts and other mementos, so contact Heidi to purchase those or join us a concert and buy one! At the 2007 meeting the following tenure pins were also awarded: 15 year - Richelle Read. 20 year: James Brown, Tom Schmidt Ayr-Paris Band 25-Year Membership Plaque In memory of Ed Webster [1938-1998] for Ed's 45 years of dedicated band service.
Each year, several awards are given out to deserving individuals. Here are the results from the January 2007 Annual Meeting. The Ed Brunton Memorial Trophy for most
improved Junior Bandsperson -- Hillary Robertson, saxophone, trombone
and any other instrument she can get her hands on.
