Sunday May 4th Battle of Atlantic Parade, Cambridge -- Galt Legion 121.  Meet at Churchill Park Cambridge by 12:45
Monday May 19th Woodstock Victoria Day Parade -- 10am.  Bus will leave Ayr at 8:45, Paris at 9am.  BBQ after parade at Heidi and Derrick's
Monday May 19th New Dundee Victoria Day Parade -- 2:30 pm.  Please meet on street behind bandshell by 2:15
Wednesday June 4th Concert at Pond -- 7:30pm.  Be ready to play by 7:15
Sunday June 15th St. Anthony's Feast Parade, Hamilton -- Bus leaves Ayr at 10:45 am.  Paris at 11am
Sunday June 22nd St. Mary's Church Parade, Brantford.  2:30 pm.  Please meet at corner of Colborne and Murray St. by 2:15pm
Tuesday July 1st Cambridge Canada Day Parade.  1pm.  Meet at Preston Arena by 12:30
Wednesday July 2nd Concert at Pond -- 7:30pm.  Be ready to play by 7:15
Wednesday July 9th Concert at Paris Band Shell, 7:30pm.  Be ready to play by 7:15 pm
Friday August 1st through BAND CAMPING WEEKEND at Point Farms Provincial Park
Sunday August 3rd Concert at Harbour Park in Goderich.  Be ready to play by 7pm. 
Wednesday August 6th Concert at Pond -- 7:30pm.  Be ready to play by 7:15
Sunday August 10th St Rocco Church Parade.  Be at St. Pius Church by 2:30pm.  Turn off King George Rd at Wood St and Park in Comfort Inn
Saturday August 16th Drumbo Harvest Carnival Parade, 6:30pm.  Meet near Drumbo Ag Hall by 6:15pm
Sunday August 17th Galt Legion Decoration Day Service, 2pm.  Meet at Mountview Cemetery on Blair Rd Galt by 1:30pm.  Enter Cemetery off Grant St.  See map
Wednesday August 20th Concert at Telfer Place, 7pm 245 Grand River St. N, Paris.  Be ready to play at 6:45pm
Wednesday September 3rd Concert at Pond -- 7pm.  Be ready to play by 6:45
Saturday September 6th Warrior's Day Parade, Hespeler.  12 noon.  Please meet at Old Post Office, Queen and Cooper St by 11:30am.
Wednesday September 17th Band Open House and Jr Band Begins

 Band Practice

The Band is always happy to encourage new members and new talent.  Joining the Band couldn't be easier.  You're welcome to attend rehearsal at anytime, or contact Heidi, the band secretary for more information.  Jr band members are encouraged to join during our September Open House but are also welcome anytime by contacting Heidi.  She can be reached by email or by phoning (519) 632-7433

Rehearsal

The Band offers two levels of rehearsal every Wednesday night:

Junior Band - 7:00 to 7:45 p.m. Conducted by Richelle Read
Senior Band - 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. Conducted by Merry Schmidt
Social night first Wednesday of each month after band
Executive meeting last Wednesday of each month after band

Rehearsals are held at the Ayr Community Centre Hall (upstairs at the Arena, separate entrance)

Instruments are usually provided, but it does depend on demand. Uniform's are provided at no cost to senior band members.  The Junior band wear their own black pants and white shirts for performances. 

Individual Lessons

There are some senior band members who give private lessons.  These can be arranged with the members individually. Cost varies with each instructor.
